Our family is reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your support for my sister, Cristina. She's a devoted wife to Mario, and the proud mom of two miracle babies, Livia (2) and Gaetano (1).

Cristina was diagnosed with endometriosis at 13 and spent years believing she might never be able to have children. Against all odds, she was blessed with Livia and Gaetano—her greatest joy and the reason she’s been fighting so fiercely these last 16 months. She pushes through each day not to miss the milestones, the giggles, the little moments that mean everything.

Now Cristina is battling medical refractory Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension (IIH)—a rare, serious condition that causes dangerously high pressure around the brain. Despite exhausting every treatment, her condition has progressed. The next step is a series of complex neurosurgeries followed by ICU recovery and monitoring.

If you know Cristina, you know she’s strong, fierce, and never one to ask for help. But right now, the challenges are too great for her young family to face alone. With two little ones depending on their mom, the weight of medical and hospital expenses is overwhelming.
