On September 15, 2024, Cristian, at 24 years of age, was faced with the life-changing news that he had leukemia. The life he knew would never be the same as his fight against cancer was just beginning.

Cristian is currently undergoing aggressive treatment at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX, in hopes to win this battle against cancer.

Cristian, one semester from finishing his bachelor's from UTEP, had to put all of his plans on hold to focus on his health.

It has been difficult for the entire family, but one thing we know is he is young, strong, and while this will be a long road, we intend to be there supporting him every step of the way.
