She needs life prolonging treatments and without a job, will have difficulty even travelling to her appointments for those treatments. Cristal Berard Southwick was recently diagnosed with Stage 3b Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Adenocarcinoma and is also suffering from SVC syndrome as the tumor presses on the superior vena cava vein. She is the primary income earner for herself and her two youngest children who live with her. Being out of work has posed some financial challenges already, and she has a long road ahead.

In addition to lost income, she will have medical costs not covered by insurance as well as expenses to travel frequently to Brunswick and Portland for treatment. Any amount you can donate will be much appreciated by Cristal and the entire family.
