Help Support Cris & His Family Through End Stage Heart Failure

Cris—a devoted husband, proud father, and active union brother—is now facing the fight of his life.

Recently, while on a family trip up north, Cris experienced unexpected and severe swelling in his legs. What was supposed to be a quick trip to the ER turned into a life-altering diagnosis: End Stage Heart Failure. This news came out of nowhere and has completely upended life for Cris and his family.

Cris has spent years working hard in the sheet metal field as a proud and active member of his union (Local 80), never one to shy away from lending a hand or putting in the effort to take care of his family and his community. He’s also been a beloved coach with the Warren Village Athletic Club, mentoring kids in sports for over 7 years, including his son—and just recently, coaching his daughter in her first year of softball. It doesn’t stop there; he’s also coached rec basketball and was a Cub Scouts leader. He’s the kind of person who shows up for others, always.

But now, Cris can no longer work due to the severity of his condition. He and his wife are trying to stay afloat amidst mounting medical bills, ongoing treatments, and everyday living expenses. His wife, who has been a stay-at-home mom for the past 13+ years, is now seeking full-time employment to help keep their family going—but they need help right now.

We know Cris would never ask for help himself—he’s too proud, too humble, too used to being the one who gives. That’s why we’re asking on his behalf. Because no family should have to face this kind of battle alone.

Every donation—big or small—helps:

Cover medical bills, hospital stays, and treatments

Support daily living expenses as Cris recovers

Allow his wife and kids to focus on healing instead of just surviving

Let’s rally around this incredible family the way Cris has rallied for so many others.
