My mother, Crescencia Santiago, brother, Daniel Santiago, and his daughter, Regina, lost their home in the devastating Eaton Fire and are now displaced. My mother has lived in Pasadena for 57 years and before her many health conditions and losing my father, she had been an active volunteer at her community church, Sacred Heart Church, for 10 years. My mother has been a caring person as she always opened the doors of her home for many years to family and friends in dire need of a place to live. My brother, Daniel, is a single father dedicated to his 4-year-old daughter. Further, Daniel is a dedicated and hard worker as an IT Technician at Glendale Unified School District to be able to provide for his daughter and my elderly mother. Some of the possessions they both have lost were sentimentally valuable to them and are irreplaceable; however, they are both in need of some necessities to help them get by in the coming months during the process of recovery. There are no words to describe the devastation my brother and mother are going through.
We are grateful for any contribution, no matter the size. Your generosity will help Crescencia, Daniel, and his daughter to reduce as much stress, mentally and physically, on them as possible while they work on getting back on their feet and start recovering after this catastrophe.
Thank you for your love, support, and kindness during this difficult time.
