Support Crecensio Chavez's Final Journey

Hello, my name is Alicia Perez. My cousin, Crecensio Chavez, was in a drowning accident and unfortunately, he passed away on 07/24/2025. It has been a very hard time for us and the parents of this 18-year-old boy. Currently, the mother is in Guatemala, and the father has been unemployed for the past 5 years due to losing one of his legs.

My cousin, Crecensio Chavez, was a very, lovable, funny, and caring person. To anyone around him, he was a kind young person who would always bring joy to the family and friends. Crecencio would always make you smile or laugh in any occasion. He was a funny and helpful boy who would try his best to help anyone, whether it was family or friends. He was also such a hard working man. He attended Arcadia High School. When he was in school, we encouraged him to always follow his dreams. We also encouraged him to finish his education so that he could be a graduate in his family. But unfortunately, due to his father losing one of his legs, he had to quit school so that he could maintain the household since his father couldn’t work. Three years later, he lost his brother in Guatemala.

Although we know he has gone to a better place and is resting, he has left a big absence in our lives and hearts.

My family and I would like to thank everyone who tried to help save my cousin. Especially to the person who was wearing an orange shirt, I don't have his name at the moment, but I want to thank him from the bottom of my heart. Also to his wife who was comforting us and being there with us. May God bless you today and always and your family. I also want to thank everyone who was trying to help looking for him and also everyone who was there with my family comforting us. Also, to all those who were praying, I would like to thank you all for your prayers.

During this hard time, we only ask for a prayer and your condolences. However, if you would like to donate and help us during this hard time for the costs of the funeral viewing and shipping his body to his place of origin, Guatemala. We would be more than grateful and appreciative. This truly his heartbreaking moment for all of us but our main goal is to be able to properly say our goodbyes and to send him off to his home country so his mom, siblings and family back home can say their last goodbye

Thank you so much for your time, prayers, shares and donations.

May god bless you all.
Sincerely , the Chavez Family

Hola, me llamo Alicia Pérez.
