Support Craig's Recovery from Heart Surgery

My uncle Craig is loved and adored by all of his friends and family. He has suffered from ankylosing spondylitis from the young age of 21. At the age of 27, Craig was forced to go on disability, unable to continue working. He has been through so much physical and emotional pain. He lost his older brother Keith in 2005, his father Harold in 2006, his oldest brother Mark in 2009, his mother Donna in 2011, and his best friend Michael in 2022. Craig has never had the time to grieve; he selflessly moved back home to take guardianship over his niece and nephew (me and my brother). He struggled with becoming a new parent to two teens who were going through the same loss, paying the house and utility bills on top of trying to fix the trouble my brother and I were causing, all on one disability check he received once a month. He always did his best, and we will always be grateful for what he sacrificed for us. He may be rough around the edges, but he has a good heart. I can only try to help him like he's always helped us.

On June 17th, Craig was rushed to the hospital for chest pain. Through testing, we learned that Craig had suffered a heart attack. Craig's arteries were 95% clogged. On Wednesday, he underwent open-heart surgery, a quadruple heart bypass. He has spent every day since in the hospital. He is struggling emotionally, physically, and even more now financially. His daily life will never be the same. The road to his recovery will be long and excruciating. To add insult to injury, his truck's transmission has failed, his only vehicle to get him around.
