Hi there, Ruffin here. I’m organizing this Gofundme for my father Craig. He has been in the ICU at Marin Health for a week now, since Monday March 9th, and is going through very intensive care via very trying attempts to save his life. He is battling a major thrombosis/clotting and an aneurysm in the aortal arch of his heart, a very difficult place, and whilst already having had heart surgeries/valve repairs stemming from congestive heart failure. Since being in the hospital he has now had more clotting throughout his body/brain and basically some mini-strokes. And on top of that he’s had to deal with a plethora of other ailments including kidney disease, major withdrawal symptoms and DTs, and several other major symptoms. It’s been, and will continue to be, a very challenging road through proper care if he is able to make it through, but he has been holding on.

There have been mixed news from his medical team and prognoses and procedures have gone up and down a lot this past week, but this great team he has still has good hope to get him through it. However, while not knowing exactly what the monetary cost may be, I know it is going on to most likely be significantly high. So, I have set up this Gofundme in attempts to alleviate the costs of his care and stay.
