Donate for Craig's Double Lung Transplant Journey

My name is Julia, and I am Craig's step-daughter of 33 years. I am reaching out to family and friends in hopes of financial help. This burden for my parents as Craig prepares for his imperative double lung transplant surgery has been extremely difficult and life-changing, to say the least.

Craig is currently at stage 4 COPD with one lung collapsed and one lung on less than 27%. He worked in this horrific condition for the past few years and it has progressed rapidly in the last year. Craig was forced to medically retire due to his condition as he needs to be close to his oxygen support. As Craigs health has decreased quickly his team of Drs at the Mayo Clinic have concluded that his condition is life threatening and the transplant has to happen ASAP. Craig went on the list yesterday for his double lung transplant surgery and has to be prepared to be at hospital within 1 hr of call.

Craigs team of Drs literally made my mom commit and not work to provide 24 hr care that Craig will need for 3 to 4 months. At this time my mom is the only one working and this puts a huge amount of stress on the two of them.

It is with high hopes that this surgery is a success and my step-dad will fully recover. Please help my parents if you can during this hard time. Any little bit helps. I appreciate your time and consideration.
