My thirty-five years of military and airline flying experience connected me with thousands of professional pilots, all with a penchant to complain about their lot in life—lost fortunes, evil ex-spouses, bad food, and no sleep. Then I met Craig Washka, the human light bulb, who can befriend the worst of our kind and brighten anyone's world.
Craig learned to fly in 1978 through Ohio University’s professional pilot flight training program and has worn many hats including CFI, Line Captain in Props and Jets, Company Instructor Pilot/Check Airman, Assistant Chief Pilot, Director of Training and Director of Pilot Recruitment/Development where he spent over a decade responsible for pilot recruitment, interviewing and selection. He enjoyed networking with the flight training and airline industry helping thousands of pilots achieve their career goals. He also interviewed with two Major Airlines, before being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, effectively ending his flying career.
Craig has been dealt a very "bad hand." He deserves better, so I have made it my mission to demolish his debt and allow him to live out his life without the pressure of worrying about money.
A few of Craig's family members, friends, and I have organized this GoFundMe campaign to turn his $246,000 mortgage into all zeros.
Will you help us?
