Support Craig “Screamer” Powell’s medical recovery

Dear Friends Family and Fans:
We are reaching out on behalf of Craig Powell......most of you know him as Screamer. He was the guitarist for the band Mazarati in the 80s. He also wrote and performed the guitar music for Prince’s hit song “Kiss” and he has worked on various other projects for Prince as well as other musicians and producers throughout his career. And he needs your help.
Screamer was admitted to the emergency room barely hanging on to life. His organs were shutting down. He was in excruciating pain and the doctors did not expect him to make it through the night.
He was later diagnosed with Acute Necrotizing Pancreatitis, (inflammation of the pancreas). This condition gets worse over time and leads to permanent damage.
Screamer can no longer eat by mouth, he is fed through a TPN IV. He also has drains and bags for his bodily fluids to properly circulate out of his body. He has also lost over 100 lbs. His eyesight has been severely affected while experiencing a myriad of other health issues.
Screamer has been in and out of the hospital numerous times. Last month alone, he was hospitalized 4 times for up to a week at a time. He’s really in need your donations
Before this illness, Screamer was a strong and healthy man with endless energy. He was a solid 280 lbs & did not do drugs or drink. He spent the last couple of years trying to keep his illness private. He did not want his family, friends and fans to feel pity for him and he just wanted to privately focus on healing.
With all that said, We are reaching out to the Purple community....... Friends, Family and Fans… any help you can give would be whole heartedly appreciated.
