Support Craig Moshier's Battle with Lymphoma
Donation protected
Now that family has been made aware, I am able to organize this fundraiser on behalf of my brother-in-law, Craig Moshier.
Craig Moshier (Craiger) has recently been diagnosed with diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL). DLBCL, a type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, is an aggressive, fast-growing cancer that develops in the lymph nodes or can develop in essentially any organ in the body. Craig’s DLBCL developed in the bone (pelvis). Despite being an aggressive lymphoma, DLBCL is a treatable form of cancer that responds well to chemotherapy, but DLBCL is still a complex disease that requires a combination of chemotherapy drugs with side effects.
Many of you may know, Craig’s diagnosis comes on the heels of the family celebrating three years of “no evidence of disease” for our hero Heath (Craig and Janet’s grandson), who has been battling Stage 3 Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma. Now, the family is again facing another unexpected and overwhelming challenge. The symptoms from his diagnosis, which was received less than a month ago, have already forced a significant change in Craig and Janet’s life. The reality is, Craig has been taken off work because he is unable to perform his job due to the symptoms of his disease: bone pain and a pathological fracture of his pelvis. Craig is starting his first round of chemotherapy at Roswell as I type this fundraiser, but this battle will be a long road and will prove difficult to manage their finances with Craig being the main source of income for the family.
How can you help: Those of you who know Craig personally know he is always making light of any situation and cracking jokes. We are happy to say, the diagnosis of cancer has not taken that away. Craig would also be the first person to help when someone is in need. With that said, I am reaching out to our family, friends, and community for support. Your contributions will help cover medical and travel expenses, everyday living costs, and any additional needs that may arise during this challenging time. No amount is too small, and every dollar will be truly appreciated.
If you are unable to contribute, please consider sharing this fundraiser with your friends. In addition, your prayers, support, and love would mean the world to Craig, Janet, and the rest of the family while they navigate this difficult time. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for your generosity. Please feel free to contact me if you would like to support in different ways.
With Gratitude,
Julie Kenyon (Janet Moshier’s sister)
