Support Craig Austinson's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
On July 18th, 2024, Craig Austinson’s life was tragically changed by an unexpected accident while working outside. He found himself pinned between a tractor bucket and a gator, unable to move. Despite his severe injuries, Craig freed himself and got help, displaying incredible strength and resilience.
Craig was immediately rushed to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center, where he has remained for the past week. His injuries are extensive and will require at least another week of care at Emanuel as his team of doctors and nurses work together to create the best plan of action for his recovery.
Through all this, Craig has remarkably kept his spirits up, even cracking jokes when he can and putting a sly smirk on his face and those around him. However, his road to recovery will be long and challenging. Craig will be unable to return to work for at least the next year as he undergoes rehabilitation to regain his ability to perform everyday activities. It is uncertain when he will finally be able to return home.
Craig, his wife Jamie, and their two daughters, Emily and Katie, will need all the support they can get during this difficult time. We are raising funds to help cover the essential needs of the family as they navigate this challenging period.
Not only are the Austinson family some of the best I know, but Craig is also one of the kindest and most supportive people I know. As his friends and family, it’s our turn to support them. We send our best wishes, prayers, and thoughts to Craig and his family daily. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference.
With all the love,
