I'm Megan, a wife to a hardworking man and a mom of two beautiful little girls. We moved into a home to create stability for our family. To do this, both Craig and I drained all our accounts. We paid for inspections and had our well treated to make it safe to bathe and drink from. I just recently had to have a punch biopsy done, finding a bacterial infection. I also lost a toenail from a bacterial infection. Our oldest daughter is using a topical medication for the same.

Culligan Water came out and quoted a three-part system to correct low pH, high iron levels (2 different types), and most importantly, to kill bacteria. With a second opinion, the quote changed to half the cost. What is most troubling is the green coming out of the faucets; this is acidity breaking down the actual plumbing pipes, which will be catastrophic if not immediately rectified.

I am very quick to help others, even when I have very little, and am humbling myself to start this GoFundMe in hopes to have some help reciprocated at a time where my husband and I are powerless. The health of the home and our family depends on being able to lean on others in this situation. We will forever be grateful for any help given. We put temporary faucet filters just to ease our minds when we have to shower our girls and ourselves, but we know from professional water experts that this does nothing to correct our toxic water.
