Help our Country Place 5th Grade team Soar to Destination Imagination Global Finals in Kansas City!
We are the members and managers of the incredibly dedicated and creative CP5 Strikes Back! from Country Place Elementary in Carrollton, TX representing CFBISD. We are thrilled to announce that after months of hard work, teamwork, and imaginative problem-solving, we've qualified for the Destination Imagination Global Finals in Kansas City, MO with our technical solution!
What makes this achievement even more special is that this is our very first year participating in Destination Imagination! We entered this program with enthusiasm and a desire to learn and grow, never imagining that our efforts would take us all the way to the Global Finals. It's been an incredible journey of discovery, and we're still a bit in awe of how far we've come.
Destination Imagination is an amazing global program that challenges students to think on their feet, collaborate effectively, and develop innovative solutions to complex challenges in STEM, the arts, and service learning. It's been an incredible journey, and we've learned so much by pushing our creative boundaries and working together as a team.
Reaching the Global Finals is a dream come true for our team of four students. We are so excited for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to showcase our hard work, learn from teams around the world, and experience the energy of this incredible event.
However, making the trip to Global Finals comes with significant costs, including travel, accommodation, registration fees, and materials. As a team, we are actively fundraising and exploring every avenue to make this dream a reality.
This is where we need your help!
We are thankful our district is able to pay for our main registration and part of the hotel costs but...your contribution, no matter the size, will directly support our team in covering other essential expenses and allow us to represent Country Place Elementary and Carrollton, TX on the global stage.
