I'm Kelly, one of Courtney's best friends! We all know Courtney from different parts of her life. Some of us are family and friends or colleagues and fans. One thing that I think we all know about her is that she's very strong and hardworking. She doesn't really like asking for help, so I decided to create this GoFundMe on her behalf.

Due to diagnosis and treatment of endometrial cancer, she's been unable to work for several months now. Thankfully, as of right now, her cancer is in remission, and she's stable. While we're so glad that she's recovering so well, all of those medical bills have started to pile up. Her insurance covered a helpful amount, but there was just so much left up to Courtney to cover on her own that she can't afford especially considering not being able to work for the duration of her treatment.

The balance that we're trying to raise here is to help her pay off the medical bills while keeping up with living expenses from her time being unable to work. It also covers current charges for known upcoming medical expenses, so this amount is inclusive to help her stay healthy without worrying about money. She's already getting back to it, by starting to table at cons again next month, but it's been a rough few months especially in regards to her mental health. By January, her goal is to be back on track producing chapters of Honey Lemon, and in the meantime she's working on a project to process her experience.
