Support Courtney's Marathon for Publicolor

Hi everyone,
This year, I’m proud to say I’ll be running the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon—and I’m doing it for a cause that means the world to me: Publicolor. Publicolor is more than just a nonprofit; it’s a lifeline for inner-city students. Through after-school programs focused on tutoring and mentorship; alongside Saturday painting projects that transform dull spaces into vibrant, colorful spaces, Publicolor gives young people the tools to thrive academically, creatively, and emotionally.
This isn’t just another charity to me-I’m a proud Publicolor alum. I joined the program as a student in 2015(see pictures), and it changed my life. From tutoring sessions that helped me stay on track in school to weekend painting projects that gave me purpose and pride, Publicolor helped shape who I am today. A Solidified group of friends, a network of tutors in school and life that stay connected, it’s safe to say that even though I’ve “graduated” from the program, I never really left. I’m still part of the Publicolor family, and running this marathon is my way of giving back. Here’s a link to their website: https://www.publicolor.org/
I’ve committed to raising $5,000 for Publicolor, and every dollar makes a difference. This GoFundMe is primarily for visibility and sharing, but if you’d prefer a direct route to make sure 100% of your donation goes to the nonprofit, here’s an alternate link: [https://form-renderer-app.donorperfect.io/give/publicolor/nyc-marathon-2025]. Either way, your support helps fund tutoring, supplies, meals, transportation, and uplifting community projects for students who need it most. (If you’ve donated directly through the link please let me know!)
Whether you can donate $5 or $50, or simply share this page with your network, it all helps. Thank you so much for supporting me—and more importantly, supporting the next generation of Publicolor students who are learning, growing, and changing their communities one brushstroke at a time.
With love,
Courtney
