Hi everyone,
I’m writing this on behalf of my dear friend, Courtney, during a season where she truly needs to be surrounded by love, prayer, and support.
In late January, while Courtney was away, freezing temperatures caused a pipe in her home to burst. Water quickly spread through multiple rooms, damaging walls, floors, and personal belongings. When she returned, her home was no longer safe or livable and had to be partially gutted to prevent further damage and mold.
Like many homeowners, Courtney believed her insurance would help her recover. Unfortunately, her policy has strict limitations on water damage. Those limits were exhausted almost immediately by emergency mitigation alone, leaving essential repairs, mold-related work, and rebuilding costs uncovered.
As a result, Courtney is currently displaced from her home and facing significant out-of-pocket expenses just to make it safe and livable again. This has been an incredibly heavy and emotional time, but she continues to show strength, grace, and deep faith—trusting that God will provide, often through the kindness of others.
We’ve set a goal of $35,000 to help Courtney:
• Complete uninsured repairs and rebuilding
• Cover mold remediation, testing, and cleanup
• Manage temporary living expenses while her home is uninhabitable
• Handle essential recovery costs as she works to move forward
If you’re able to give, pray, or share this fundraiser, please know that every act of kindness truly matters. Even the smallest gesture is a reminder that Courtney is not walking this road alone.
Thank you for standing with her during this time. Your love, generosity, and prayers mean more than words can express.
With gratitude and faith,
The Village
