Hello Friends and Family,

I am going through a very complicated custody and divorce battle. This whole experience has been extremely difficult, and I am at a point now where I could really use your support if you are able to help.

For the last year, I have not had custody of my kids and was forced out of our family home. I am only a year into the workforce since being a stay-at-home mom for 8 years. This year, I lost my dad, my relationship, my home, and my children all in a 3-week span of time. Despite all the tumultuous turmoil, I have always kept it together and done my best, making sure to fight for time with my kids no matter how hard it's been each step of the way.

I am nearly 11 months sober and working three jobs so I can afford to pay child support and rent. Our trial is coming up to determine how the future will unfold for my children and myself. At this time, I have a lawyer to represent me; however, I still need to pay my retainer fee by September 9. If I am unable to do this, I will end up representing myself and have an unfair disadvantage in court. What I am reluctantly asking is if you are able or willing to donate, it would mean so much to me and in turn, my kids. Because they deserve BOTH parents.
