Fighting for My Life After 10 Years of Illness – Please Help

Hi, my name is Courtney, and I’ve been living with multiple life-threatening health conditions for the past ten years. After a decade of relentless battles with my body, years of misdiagnosis, I now find myself facing the most critical moment yet—and I desperately need your help.

I’m currently at the Mayo Clinic preparing for two urgent surgeries: one to implant a pacemaker after two failed ablation procedures, and another to remove a gastrointestinal tumor caused by adenocarcinoma. These are just the latest in a long list of serious health issues I’ve been fighting, including:

Crohn’s disease

Adenocarcinoma (a type of gastrointestinal cancer)

Recent mitral valve repair for heart complications

Pacemaker surgery due to worsening heart rhythm problems

The emotional and physical toll has been unimaginable, but so has the financial one. After years of mounting medical bills, I’m now also struggling to afford stable housing and basic living expenses. Having to choose between paying for life-saving medications or housing is both terrifying and frustrating, but its where I am currently at. And as much as I try, I cannot do it on my own.
