Unfortunate update. Dec 16th
Optometrist came in and dilated my eyes after a weird eye spell. Turns out I have developed lesions on my cornea. Unsure of next steps at this time but whatever is affecting me still is really unpredictable!
They are also looking into getting imaging of my head now.
Again, we want to thank each of you who have been reaching out with words of encouragement, keeping our family in your prayers, and sharing/donating to help us out during this difficult time.
If you would still like to help with bills and additional piling expenses we have set up a go fund me, venmo and paypal. We greatly appreciate all the help we have/are receiving! Thank you very much from the bottom of our hearts! ❤️

Update: December 11th 2025
Last night was rough.
I had a very persistent and excessive cough that kept me up most of the night. But they are having to taper me off of the pneumonia medications as I have passed the limit of how long I should be on those. They decided to add a nebulizer to the mix on top of my inhalers and other medications.
My white blood cell count went up significantly overnight. Which is concerning.
I've lost over 15lbs in a matter of 21 days of being sick, and they have gotten a dietian involved in my care.
I have a new onset dull ache in my legs/knee mostly my left side. They are also monitoring.
My eyes as of this morning have started developing new worsening spots. They are doing all of the treatment they possibly can for it at the moment. They believe my eyes are getting a delayed reaction from RIME.
The sores outside of my mouth cracked and started bleeding last night but the inside of my mouth seems to be healing very slowly.
I developed a red almost sunburn type rash on my face and chest in the last 2 hours that we are now monitoring.
And they started running fluids again through my IV.
Again if you would like to help during this process feel free to share our updates or donate to our venmo, paypal or go fund me! We appreciate each of you beyond what our words can express and we want to say a huge thank you!!

Update: ✨️
Official diagnosis is RIME. This is an autoimmune response likely due to my pneumonia. It affects all mucus membranes and can cause many additional infections and SEVERE pain.
Day 20 of being ill. Day 4 of hospitalization.
This mornings updates weren't quite what we were hoping for. Saturday night my vision got blurry and painful. Ophthalmology was referred over immediately & wasnt extremely concerned on Saturday/Sunday. They've seen me each day I've been here. Today there was a concerning new issue. There are spots on my eye membranes, a large one of my left eye under my cornea and a small one starting on my right eye. This happened overnight. So we are slightly concerned about the progressiveness of this illness now and how it can affect/damage my eyes.
My sores on the exterior of my mouth are finally healing and the sores on the interior of my mouth aren't quite as red which is a win. The concern now is that the skin in mouth is sloughing which creates a new risk for infection.
They did place a catheter to help with the skin issues extreme pain there.
I am on multiple antibiotics, steroids, vitamins, potassium, and getting IV fluids often.
I have just started to eat again after countless days of not being able to eat or drink.
I just got my 4th IV placed due to blowing them. They are talking about placing a midline if this next IV blows as well.
We talked about being discharged tomorrow but unfortunately that is not going to happen. They believe I wont be discharged until later this week or even next week.
I've had multiple people reach out and ask what our biggest need is right now and unfortunately I am going to have to say finances. I had to cancel over 10 sessions and many wanted refunds back due to the nature of this illness, and not having clear answers. (Which I understand) but that puts us in a severe bind as we still havent caught up from Taylor's accident and now I am unable to financially help in any way. I am not able to take new clients right now so that also affects us financially. There are just so many unknowns and this diagnosis seems to be taking a turn in the wrong direction. I just dont know when I will be discharged or when I will be capable of doing sessions after being discharged.
We know its the holidays so we aren't expecting people to be capable of helping at all but this is the situation and if you can help we would be extremely grateful.
How you can maybe help??
●Meals for my husband and kids would be immensely helpful right now. I know he's holding down the fort but the man is stressed and I dont blame him. Taking dinner off his plate with three girls im sure would be helpful.
● Donations to our venmo or paypal. Ive considered making a go fund me to help with bills/mortgage payment.
