Hi, I’m Kaitlin, Courtney’s twin sister, along with our cousins Maggie and Alyssa. Many of you know that years ago, Courtney was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in September of 2019. With the support of her family, she fought hard and won. Earlier this year, on our birthday (4/14), she received the incredible news that she could stop the oral chemo she had been on for years.

Just a few months later, however, Courtney found another lump. This time it was different. After seeing her doctor, she was diagnosed with stage 3 angiosarcoma, a very rare cancer that, in some cases, can develop as a result of the radiation she received during her earlier treatment.

Courtney will undergo chemotherapy and surgery in the coming months in Rochester, NY. She is also working with a renowned angiosarcoma specialist at Sloan Kettering and will be traveling to NYC for checkins with this expert medical team.

We never thought we’d be here again, asking for help. After everything she has been through, we hoped for a season of peace. But once more, we find ourselves leaning on the strength of our amazing doctors and our community. We will push forward!
