Hi everyone,

My name is Shelby, and I'm creating this fundraiser for my sister, Courtney, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. This diagnosis has changed everything for her and for our family. Courtney has just begun an aggressive and demanding treatment journey, one that will require immense physical strength, emotional resilience, and ongoing medical care.

As a family, we are rallying around her in every way we can. We’re asking for support not because it’s easy, but because the road ahead is long, unpredictable, and costly. Any help will allow Courtney to focus on the most important thing right now: treatment, rest, and healing. We are deeply grateful not only for financial contributions but also for the continued prayers, love, and other ways friends and loved ones have shown their support (meals, gift cards, handwritten cards, flowers, texts, calls, etc.).

What We’re Raising Funds For

As Courtney focuses on treatment, our parents will be taking some time away from work to be present for her care, creating additional financial strain alongside mounting medical costs.

The funds raised will go directly toward easing the financial burden that comes with intensive cancer treatment, including:

• Medical bills, treatments, and procedures not fully covered by insurance

• Prescription medications and ongoing care needs

• Travel to and from appointments and treatment centers

• Supportive therapies and supplies to help manage side effects

• Daily living expenses during periods when working may not be possible

• Comfort and quality-of-life needs throughout treatment
