Help us, Help Courage!

We have been caring for a Pitbull Mix we call “Courage” for the past few weeks and it’s time to get him fully vetted and ready for adoption.

This sweet boy was on the run in Jackson for at least a week in the brutal cold of January. The lady who kept seeing him on her porch called Animal Control, but they couldn’t catch him. The lady posted Courage on Facebook, but no one was looking for him, no one came forward. So we did.

My friend/coworker was able to chat with the lady who spotted him and secure him in a garage, and brought him into our care at Paws & Whiskers Resort. Safe at last.

But the shelter is full, so we agreed to help him on his journey.

Courage is the sweetest little light brown/white Pitbull Mix with so much love to give. He was underweight, had a few trust issues, but overall has already shown us he will be the best, loyal companion one day to the luckiest family.

He is going to see the vet Weds. morning 2/18 to be treated for an eye infection. We are going to have a urinalysis done and possibly blood work for some concerns we have seen.
