Hi, my name is Coty Hunt. I’m reaching out for help during one of the hardest times in my life.
Last May, I was in a serious car accident that left me with two broken feet and multiple facial fractures. I’ve been out of work since then, focusing on recovery. About a month ago, I started experiencing severe pain in my legs and lower back. I went back to the hospital where I had my surgeries, and after some tests, they sent me home.
Unfortunately, I lost feeling from my waist down and the pain continued to worsen in my back, and on April 2nd, I was admitted to a different hospital. After more testing, I underwent emergency back surgery due to four herniated discs pressing on my spinal cord. The doctor explained that I may never regain feeling from the waist down and could need a permanent catheter.
As of now—four days after the surgery—I still have no feeling, and the catheter has been placed back in.
This has been devastating news. I’m now facing an entirely different future, full of uncertainty, and the road ahead will involve long-term care, rehab, and ongoing medical costs.
My fiancée has been by my side every step of the way. She hasn't left me once, and anything you can give will not only help with medical bills and daily expenses, but also help her with food, gas, and the support she needs while being my rock through this.
Whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this page, your support means more than you know. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
