Our sweet Cosmo was involved in a dog attack resulting in a fractured and dislocated hind leg. Unfortunately, due to the gravity of his injury the most humane option (and the one that would likely offer him the best quality of life moving forward) was to amputate his hind leg. Cosmo will likely adjust to live a very happy, healthy life, & we’re so blessed and thankful that he is still here with us ❤️

Your donation will help my family and I with the ER/ Surgical bills ($6,500), as well as new items Cosmo will need as he enters this new chapter of his life as a tripod kitty!

He will need pet stairs to get up on his favorite bed and couch spots, a lower litter box, a new cat tree with stairs to accommodate his mobility issues, joint support medications, and lots of LOVE! (Meaning toys and treats to make him feel as normal and happy as possible!)

Cosmo will also no longer be able to be an outdoor kitty, and will need enrichment in other ways through toys, maybe a window perch etc. Losing weight for him will also be crucial to his recovery (you might’ve noticed our boy is a little chonky!) and he may need special foods, or again toys that support movement and exercise.
