Cosmo came into my life at a very unexpected time. He was just a few months old when he was passed around between different people until our paths crossed. Before me, he was left in an empty garage and not being well taken care of. After hearing about his story, I immediately knew he was my dog. We bonded quickly, and he and his siblings were best friends from the very beginning. Cosmo truly is the perfect completion to our little family pack. He’s a spunky, sassy lovebug who has the funniest personality I’ve seen in a dog. He’s obsessed with loving his siblings and loves attention from both humans and animals. He also loves to eat and chew anything he sees. We’ve gotten pretty good at keeping things out of his mouth as he gets older, but unfortunately, he still can find items from time to time. This time he got ahold of a towel, chewed it up, and swallowed it. Ultimately, this led to giving himself a blockage in his stomach and his intestine. This required costly emergency surgery to save his life. Cosmo is about a year and a half old; he has a whole life to live. Choosing surgery was extremely expensive, but I am so grateful I have family that were willing to pitch in and help save him.
