Support Cory's Recovery and Future
Donation protected
My brother Cory Vaughn, had his life completely turned upside when he had a horrible motorcycle accident Sunday 6/23. The accident left him with a broken right femur and a seriously damaged foot. Even with the best medical care in the country, the surgeons couldn’t save his foot and they had to amputate his right leg from his knee down. He has already endured 3 significant surgeries and he still needs another surgery to have a rod put into the broken femur bones. Cory has his CDL license and started working for a company he really liked. Driving heavy equipment is something he loves to do. As you can imagine he is worried about his future and how he’s going to pay bills and support his daughter. My family and I are reaching out to humbly ask his friends and family to donate if they are able. Any amount is greatly appreciated. We don’t want him to fret over money while he lies in a hospital bed with a questionable future. If you know Cory, then you know of his difficult past. He has worked very hard to get where he is and now to have this happen is just not fair. He has been the happiest I have seen him in a long time. He was enjoying sober life and doing what he loves, driving trucks, seeing his daughter, and hanging with the many friends he has made over the years. This whole ordeal has been heartbreaking and a nightmare. Cory’s main focus is to get on with his life so he can start working and living again. I have never met a braver or stronger guy. I can’t say I would have the same attitude if things were reversed. I’m so proud to call him my big brother and my best friend. We would also like to thank those of you who have sent their prayers and well wishes.
