My name is Cory, and I’m reaching out during one of the most challenging times of my life. I was recently diagnosed with pneumonia, and the infection became so severe that I needed invasive surgery to remove bacteria from the sack around my lungs and inside my lungs. After spending time in the ICU, I’m finally moving into a regular hospital room, but my recovery is just beginning. I’ll be on strict bed rest for a long time, unable to work or take care of things the way I usually do.

I recently moved back home to help care for my family, but now the roles have reversed—my family is caring for me. This has been a humbling experience, and I’ve never asked for help before, but the medical bills and living expenses are adding up quickly. Any support you can offer will help me cover these costs while I focus on healing and getting back on my feet.

Through all of this, my faith has been my anchor. I recently turned my life over to God and believe that every time I help someone, I earn a feather on my way to heaven. I’m devoted to spending the rest of my life helping others, just as my family and community are helping me now. God has been good to me, and I’m grateful for the strength and support I’ve received.
