Support Cory’s Recovery After Assault

On a recent night in Inlet Beach, Florida, our lives changed in an instant. My boyfriend Cory, the heart and soul of our family and a devoted father, was the victim of a violent, unprovoked assault. He was struck in the face with a metal baton, suffering a severely broken jaw that required emergency surgery. The trauma of this event has left us devastated and emotionally drained, especially knowing the person responsible was from my past. We’re still processing the shock and sadness, but we’re determined to help Cory heal and move forward.

Cory is the kind of person who lights up every room he enters. He’s the life of the party, a wonderful friend, and someone who brings joy to everyone around him. When he’s not working hard at his new custom cabinet millwork company, you’ll find him playing pickleball or out on the water boating. He cares deeply for others and is always the first to lend a hand or share a laugh. To know Cory is to love him, and seeing him in pain has been incredibly hard for all of us.

We’re reaching out to our community for help as we face mounting medical bills, legal expenses, and lost income from missed work. Cory does not have health insurance yet, and the costs of his emergency surgery and ongoing care are overwhelming. We’re doing everything we can, but we can’t manage this alone.
