In March 2021, my life changed in an instant. What should have been a routine gender affirming surgery turned into a devastating medical error that nearly cost me my life. I needed two life saving surgeries with low odds.of making it through them.. I survived—but the aftermath has been long, painful, and financially devastating.

Since then, I’ve had to undergo 3 more surgeries, each one necessary to repair the damage caused by that mistake. Even with insurance, the copays, deductibles, and out‑of‑pocket costs have piled up far beyond what I can manage on my own.. I have a job but it’s sadly not enough..

I’m doing everything I can to stay strong and keep moving forward, but the financial burden has become impossible to carry alone. That’s why I’m asking for help—something I never imagined I’d have to do.
