Hi! If you are reading this we are already so grateful for your prayers and support! Over the last 5 years, Cory has experienced some minor seizure activity. For the last 6 months the seizures have become more common. After the holidays Cory got his first MRI which revealed a mass in his left temporal lobe. Over the last several weeks, Cory and Olivia have traveled to Seattle for an fMRI, met with neurologists at Sacred Heart, and have recently learned that this tumor is unfortunately cancerous. Cory is scheduled to have it completely removed on Thursday, February 5th. Throughout this whole process Cory and Olivia have felt so overwhelmingly buoyed by their community's prayers, encouragement, and tangible support. This medical journey was completely unexpected and even after insurance (praise God for insurance!) large bills are accumulating quickly. No one plans for brain cancer. Let's continue to show Cory and Olivia that they are in this WITH and ALONGSIDE their amazing community of loved ones by shouldering the financial load with them! The early church was described as a community where "there was no needy person among them" because resources were shared with those in need. Let's do likewise!
