Help the West Boys Keep On Clearing!!

Raising funds for Cory West & his son, Toby. After rescuing me twice, once from removing trees from my driveway & front yard, and the second time by helping me escape from an intruder while in my camper the next night after the hurricane, Cory has been a true hero. Cory is an excavator & tree cutter by trade and had cut my trees for curing from my property, which is how we initially met. Cory arrived the day of the hurricane as I was trapped by several trees. Climbing over them was the only way out. He cut them to make a path through my driveway so I could get out to find my daughter & granddaughter. He came back to cut the trees that broke over my house and helped dozens & dozens of people get out of their homes & properties. He also cut downed trees in the road, which no one else was doing, to allow people to get through the neighborhood here & there.

Here’s Cory’s Story: “We’ve helped well over 50 and ancillary family as well as the city professional maintenance crew. I don't know; I didn't count. I was busy clearing the road so folk could get out. Cuz no one else was there at the time, I decided myself to get to work and I will toot my horn. Me and my machine made more progress with fewer resources than most any. While cutting the uprooted timber into useful and manageable 12' logs to be sawed later into lumber to give back to the community for healing and do it on Biltmore property for park. I need the city to buy some stuff for me to manage.”

I just spoke with the city who is waiting for contract workers. Cory is a professional business but he was not contracted to do the work, but he showed up day 1. In the meanwhile, Cory & his son have done so much. He just texted me from the roadside and his second vehicle has broken down. Please help Cory & Toby if you can. No amount is too small. Thank you!
