Support Corey Goodman's Road to Recovery

Corey Goodman was riding his motorcycle in Giles County on Wednesday July 4th 2024. Unfortunately he was struck by a deer causing a wreck which in turn caused his motorcycle to catch fire with him still on it. Corey suffered burns on over 40% of his body he is currently in Winston Salem burn unit. Doctors are estimating 3 to 4 surgeries and a long road to recovery. Corey's family is staying by his side as he is scared and in a lot of pain, they are doing their best to comfort him. The family is going to be financially impacted by trips to Winston salem as well as medical expenses related to his stay and recovery. Corey has a daughter who he has asked about constantly and is worried about her and the effects this trauma will also have on her as well as the rest of his famil. I have seen first hand the support, love, prayers and coming together our community is capable of, and once again we are calling upon everyone who can help to help. The family is in need of gas cards, donations, and most importantly thoughts for comfort and a full recovery.
