The devastation of Hurricane Helene has put many lives in turmoil. My nephew, his wife and child are safe but life has come to a halt for them and their financial security is uncertain. The costs to survive are endless and times are very difficult and unimaginable. With the water infrastructure in Asheville under repair without a timeline offered, they are without potable water, businesses aren’t open, and their employment has come to a halt. I'm hoping to raise money to tie them over for a couple of months so they won’t lose their apartment and can get through this extremely difficult time.
