Support Cory after the sudden loss of Brett
Donation protected
Dear friends and family,
It is with a heavy heart that we are reaching out during this incredibly difficult time to ask for your support. As many of you may already know, we recently unexpectedly lost our father, Brett Ahern. As we navigate the sorrow of this incredible loss, we are also faced with the unforeseen expenses related to his funeral. The costs associated with a funeral can be overwhelming, and we find ourselves in need of help during this tragic time. Our father has worked very hard to support our mother, Cory, who is currently facing significant health challenges. It is important to us that we honor our father's memory with the celebration of life that he deserves, and by ensuring that our mother gets the continued medical care she needs during this challenging time.
We are seeking to raise the necessary funds to cover funeral expenses, including service fees and memorial arrangements, as well as mom's continued health expenses. Any contribution- no matter how small- will be a significant help in laying our father to rest, and helping Mom prioritize her immediate health concerns, while also helping her to remain in her home as she struggles to come to terms with the loss of her best friend and partner of 39 years. Cory's eldest daughter Rhianna will be helping Cory with organizing finances during the beginning, and help with short term and immediate needs. We will also be setting up a meal train for anyone who wishes to assist Cory in that way. More information on that will be provided over the coming weeks.
If you can’t donate, sharing this post with your network would still mean a lot to us.
Thank you for your kindness, prayers, and support during this trying time. We've received such a beautiful outpouring of love and encouragement from you all. We have all been touched by your kind words and support. It’s comforting to know that in this time of deep sorrow, we have a community that cares.
