July 30th, 2020, on my Fathers birthday, he was in a bad Mountian Biking accident. He was rushed to Regions in an ambulance and is currently still there. He has a concussion, three brain bleeds, fractured vertebrae and two broken wrists. He needs acute rehab which is not covered by insurance.

My father is self employed and will not be able to return to work for awhile. He is our main source of income for our family of seven. He needs care 24/7 so my mom will have difficulties keeping a job because she will be his primary caretaker the majority of the time.

The therapist has explained that it will take up to a year and a half to fully recover, if he does fully recover. We are doing what we can to make ends meet but any help you are willing to give is greatly appreciated! Our goal is to get our dad back to the activities he loves to do.... except mountain biking :)
