As some of you may know, my dad, Kenneth Ainsworth, fell on October 18th. He broke his shoulder, broke three ribs, had a concussion, and pneumonia. Since he got released from the hospital, he has found out about a few more issues that have him going to all sorts of specialists. (And if you know my dad, you know that he HATES doctors appointments). He has had some issues with his legs and their strength and it has gotten a bit worse after the fall. I got him a power reclining chair that helps him to get out of it better. However, we lost power and it won't work without power. He is footing the bill for household renovations and the only solution I can think of is to get a generator so he doesn't get stuck in the chair whenever he loses power. Any money raised will be put towards the generator and if there's any additional left over, it will go into the renovations to make his home safer. Thanks for any donation you can afford. Any little bit will help. God bless!
In addition, I have undergo a bunch of medical procedures myself. I had to have foot surgery as well as skull surgery to remove all metal from my body. I have about 30 staples in my head and metal is still indeed a conductor of cold , here in NH. . I have neuropsychologists and neurologists in my future as well as nose surgery and orthopedic doctors. All the while, I am trying to take care of my dad, dealing with the VA, dealing with my empty condo in NC and trying to fit my life into one bedroom or storage to keep it out of dads way. I do not qualify for FLMA because I haven’t been at my job for a year, so they asked my to resign. My other job wants me back, but I have restrictions on what I can do, and they are requesting a doctors note that I can return to work. My last paycheck came in Friday. I am just returning from NYC now and have many trips there in my future, spanning until March at this time. Any and all help is appreciated. It’s super hard for me to ask for help, especially for myself. But I don’t want to make my dad go broke supporting me until I can get my medical and professional life together. God bless y’all, regardless of donations, and happy whatever you celebrate throughout the year. ❤️
