Support Corrine and Her Family In this Most Difficult Time

Dear Friends, Family and Caring People,

My name is Krista, and I'm reaching out on behalf of my dearest friend Corrine, who has been my sunshine for over 30 years. Corrine is smart, funny, kind, brave, and selfless—a woman deeply adored by many, especially her husband, Art, and their beautiful nine-year-old son, Finley.

Since 2021, Corrine has been waging a relentless battle against cancer. What began as bowel cancer—a condition that had silently grown for years—came as a devastating shock, particularly challenging without knowledge of her paternal medical history.

Despite aggressive treatment including five weeks of intensive therapy and major surgery, the cancer had already spread to 5-10 lymph nodes. Corrine faced this news with remarkable courage, immediately pursuing further chemotherapy. However, by 2023, the cancer had spread to her lungs, and in 2024, it reached her liver and bones.

This January, hopes were briefly raised by an experimental treatment, but recent results show the cancer continues to advance. Through it all, Corrine remains determined to reach a precious milestone: seeing her son graduate elementary school this June.

The financial reality of this journey has been overwhelming. Corrine, a talented and beloved supply teacher, has only been able to work minimally since her diagnosis. Art has become primary caregiver to Finley, significantly impacting the family's income. Cancer doesn't pause life's regular expenses—they continue relentlessly.

Corrine has always been fiercely independent and proud, rarely asking for help. That's why I'm stepping forward on her behalf. While these times are challenging for many, I'm asking for your help to create a fund for Finley in honor of his mother. This peace of mind would mean everything to Corrine and Art.

Our Goal of $15,000 will help with lighten their load and offer some security for Finley’s education and future.
