My name is Cornelius, and I’m reaching out for support during a difficult time in my life. I’m 39 years old and living with diabetes, which has made daily life a real challenge. I’ve applied for disability four times, but each time I’ve been denied. Recently, I lost my food stamps, and I’m unable to work because I’ve been told I’m too much of a liability. This has left me struggling to make ends meet and worried about how I’ll afford basic necessities.
Even though things are tough, I do my best to give back. I volunteer at the Community Table here in Sylva, NC, helping others whenever I can. My faith keeps me going, and I believe that as our Father in heaven blesses me to live, I should do my best to bless others. I may not be at my best yet, but I’m working hard to get there and stay hopeful for the future.
Right now, I need help covering food, prescriptions, and doctor bills. Any support you can offer would mean the world to me. I’m asking for help, and I promise that one day, when I’m able, I’ll return the favor to someone else in need. Thank you for believing in me and for any kindness you can share.
