My name is Laura, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart. My mother has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and is currently in a Skilled Nursing Center receiving care. The doctors have informed us that she will soon be released, but we are facing an urgent crisis — we have nowhere stable for her to go.

My mom deserves to spend her remaining time in peace, comfort, and dignity — not worrying about where she’ll sleep. We’re trying to secure safe housing as quickly as possible, but the costs of deposits, rent, and basic necessities are more than I can manage alone.
