Hello, I'm Reverend James Vance. I'm the lead pastor at Richmond Christian Church. The young lady you see in the picture is my daughter Corin Vance. She is a 38yr old single mother of two. She works hard as the Garden Manager for the city of Grosse Pointe Park. She does it all from the beautiful flowers you see in the summertime, to the festive decorations you see during the holidays. We love our Corin, her creative nature and hard-working ethics. She has an incredible zest for life and lights up a room when she walks in. Corin is kind, loving, passionate, and gives selflessly to those around her.

Corin was diagnosed with breast cancer stage 3B. She was diagnosed back in July when they found two large lumps on her right side. The fight has begun. She is currently going through extensive chemo treatments, followed by radiation, and then mastectomy surgery. The chemo is very debilitating causing her to miss time at work and reducing her ability to meet the needs of herself/her children. We are raising money to cover medical, living, and misc. expenses.

Corin has a long road to go. At least another 8 months before she's in the clear. She will miss another 2 months of work due to surgery. That is 10 months total of no work. Our goal is to remove the financial burden from Corin so she can focus more on her health, her children, and her healing. We are humbly asking for your help in any way that you can. Whether it's a donation or sharing the post to gain awareness, but most of all, prayer. We believe in the power of prayer. She's in God's hands and we are praying for complete healing.
