Support Corey's Recovery

On Tuesday, August 12th, Corey went in for surgery to repair an abnormality in his brain. During his procedure, a blood vessel ruptured and caused a subdural hematoma. (We'll let you look up what that is.. it's not good.) The doctor was able to stop the bleeding but not before having to perform a craniectomy to reduce the pressure on his brain. As you can imagine, this has been a nightmare for all of us. However, right when we were fearing the worse, Corey threw a Hail Mary! Over the last few days, Corey has been responding to cues to move his hands and legs! He has begun breathing on his own, letting us know how many fingers the doctor is holding up when the doctor physically opens his eyes for him, waving goodbye when asked to, and even giving a thumbs up! He has done all this while his eyes are still closed with a tube down his throat. Our Corey is still in there and make no mistake: HE IS A FIGHTER!

He has a long fight and a long road of recovery ahead of him and in an attempt to alleviate some of that financial burden, we are looking to raise money to help with life's ongoing costs, such as home expenses (rent/mortgage), utility bills (lights/phone), and any other reoccurring bills he will continue to have to pay because as you know, bills stop for no one.

Just keep praying and sending all of the good vibes and all of the good mojo you've got his way. Yes, he has a fight ahead of him, but we know this man as do you, and he won't go down so easily!
