Hello! My name is Corey and I'm begging for help on behalf of my family with $895 in rent and $500 car radiator diagnostics and repair charges.
My car is my lifeline. It is my job. I Doordash full-time as I cannot hold a factory or any physical job due to a knee injury I got on January 26, 2021. So far, no one is hiring for a desk job, or if I'm even qualified for that desk job. But I still try when I'm off work at night.
My car recently has had radiator problems. It will always get hot if I drive it longer than 30 minutes in this heat before I have to rest it for a bit and drive home and abandon my Doordash shift because the car has coolant issues. I have changed the coolant and refilled it, and it still gets hot after 30 minutes of drive time. Since I Doordash full-time, 10+ hours a day, I can't work now. And because I can't work, now our rent is affected and we are unable to pay. It all just trickles down.
It's Independence Day weekend and the $895 rent is already late, so that will be a $50 late payment fee on Monday the 7th, for a new total of $945.00.
I'm not used to asking for help. I'm a good God-fearing man. But I've tried raising my credit limit, and quick loan applications have been denied. I have no money for a car rental so I can actually work and make the normal $895 rent payment. Ugh. I don't know what to do. I'm so upset.
I am also looking for help to fix my car. It's a 2003 Lexus LS430. I've never had any problems until this week, and I'm begging for help. I can pay people back in payments. I just don't know what to do anymore. I don't know what to say. I've never been in this much financial trouble, and now I'm begging on my knees for help.
I'm praying so hard that someone out there has the compassion to help us. I'm willing to answer any questions if you have them.
As you can see in my Budget picture, I'm hoping you all can come through with $1,445.00+ (895 rent +50 late fee +500 car diagnostic & repair) and be back to work by Friday July 11th.
Please. We are humble and simply need a miracle. Thank you for listening
