My husband Corey and I (Christine) have called Lambertville home for just over 5 years now and couldn't be happier! We have made so many great friends since moving here and have really come to love this community. My husband and I with our twin 13 year boys make up a family of four. We are also blessed to have two 5 year old Aussiedoodles. As a family, we love community sports, especially soccer. Corey and I have coached Community Education soccer for the last 5 years. During the summer months, we spend most of the time at our camper in Quincy, Michigan. Recently, we were devastated to receive my husband's Stage 4 gastric junction cancer diagnosis. We were told the cancer had already spread to his liver and he is preparing to start treatment at the University of Michigan. He will be starting chemotherapy in the next few weeks, with plans to follow the chemotherapy with targeted immunotherapy that will give him the best chance of survival. We recognize the odds are not in our favor, and that we have an uphill battle ahead of us; BUT we are prepared to fight. Words are hard right now, but more than anything I want to express how appreciative we are for the support we are receiving from our family, friends and community!
