Hi, My name is Abigail Flores and I am helping to fundraise for my dad Corey Flores. Well, for starters who is Corey Flores? Corey is a man who doesn't go down without a fight. He is a man that will face and beat all odds thrown against him, but with that being said, no one is invincible and no one can do everything alone. He might seem like he is Hercules and to me he is my hero but all heros have a downfall before they rise again. Corey needs our help in helping him beat the odds this time and by us giving our support to provide him the transportation and medical funds this will increasingly help the odds of his treatment. Any penny, any dime could help bring this hardworking man some time of peace to help him allow himself to heal and get the treatment he needs. We as a family just realized the severity of this all when we were told he was diagnosed with a Grade 3 Oligodendroglioma. After a recent 15 hour craniotomy and 2 weeks of recovery we were told another challenge is upon us and that is the battle of Radiation and Chemotherapy. With high spirits and our trust in the good lord we will tackle this thing head on but with my mother being his sole support in both emotional and financial help it might not be enough. They will have to live in Houston for at least 6 weeks battling his treatments and anyone could tell you that two mortgages in this day and age is nearly impossible. So, I reach out not because I want to but because this is the road we need to take to help Corey heal. Help him beat this messed up thing called CANCER and let us see our hero rise again.
