Support Cordale Sheffield's Daughter's Future

Hi, I’m Cierra Alqawi, the eldest sister of Cleveland, Ohio’s Garden Valley apartment explosion victim, Cordale Sheffield. Although he is being recognized as a selfless hero, I’m left with the aftermath of taking care of his daughter. She’s starting high school soon, and she needs all the support she can get: counseling, transportation, food, shelter, and clothing.

Help support me in raising my niece as we go through this difficult transition. She’s the little girl in the picture with her dad. As you witness them smiling in the picture, keep in mind we’re finding it hard to smile. Cordale Sheffield's heroic nature, sacrificing his life to save children that weren’t his own, left us devastated and picking up the pieces. I haven’t been to work since the tragedy.
