On Sept 12, 2025, my grandson Corbin sustained multiple serious injuries to his right knee during a high school football game. The injuries have left him unable to play football or any sports. Corbin has been playing sports for many years in the hopes of gaining a scholarship so he can go to college. This injury has left that off the table.

With the type of injuries Corbin has sustained, he’s going to have to have specialty surgeons repair his complex injuries. There are going to be a lot of out-of-pocket expenses, trips to doctor's appointments, and physical therapy, which could last up to one year or more.

I’m making this GoFundMe to help Corbin have the best medical care he can get and to help his parents cover the cost of out-of-pocket and time-off work expenses.

Below is a summary of all the injuries:

MRI IMPRESSION:

1. Nondisplaced horizontal tear of the anterior horn/root of the lateral meniscus and adjacent meniscocapsular edema.

2. Complete tear of the ACL.

3. Complete tear of the MCL with extensive surrounding deep soft tissue edema and a small hematoma.

4. Depression fracture of the lateral femoral condyle.

5. Approximately 1.5 cm full-thickness cartilage loss overlying the lateral femoral condyle fracture.

6. Bone contusion involving the posterior lateral tibial plateau.

7. Large hemarthrosis and extensive soft tissue edema surrounding the knee joint.
