Just after 2026 began, Cora Young received news no 5th grader should ever have to face: a diagnosis of ALL, or Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. To say the Youngs have had the metaphorical rug pulled out from under them would be an understatement.
Cora is in great spirits (would we expect less from our girl?), but she has a long road ahead of her of procedures and treatment.
As we know, it can be expensive to be sick in America, and it’s our turn to show up and be the village for the entire Young family. Erin is looking at a leave of absence in order to step into the role of caregiver, and now is a good time to lessen the immediate financial burden so Matt and Erin can focus on Cora’s health and treatment plan.
If you’re feeling helpless, this is an important and incredibly generous way to help buy groceries, fill gas tanks for trips to the hospital, and show love to the entire Young family as they navigate their new normal.
Thanks for your consideration, every dollar helps.
