Hi, this is Cookie’s owner,
I hate to be asking for help, but unfortunately, Cookie needs to go into surgery soon or we’ll be at risk of losing her. About a year and a half ago, when I was playing with Cookie, I grabbed her leg and felt a bump. When I took her to get spayed, they turned us down because it turned out to be an inguinal hernia that she was born with. Recently, I have noticed it start to grow and become firmer as the days go by, which is a huge concern for dogs with hernias.
I have been looking hard to find a surgeon close to me that isn’t too expensive, but unfortunately, the places near me all have high death rates, which terrifies me. The ones farther away are $4-5k for her surgery alone. I myself have raised almost $1.5k for her medication, aftercare, and pre-blood work, and any tests she needs before the surgery. The money donated will go to her surgery and checkups with her primary doctor. I am still saving up as much as I can, but if you could donate, it would help a lot, even if just a dollar or even a share.
Thank you for reading,
Sincerely, Cookie’s owner
